Unplanned but great

We had an unplanned rideout on Sunday 10th, just one of those " anyone out" type of rides. So Neale and Aly joined us for a run down to see DB & CB in Gloucester and then the three bikes with pilots and copilots on board headed off to South Wales. After diversions off our intended route we arrived in Swansea and on to the Mumbles. Had a couple of ours wandering around and eating ice cream that Claire claimed were nobbled, hers went onto instant melt as soon as she got it, and I recon she would win any speed ice cream eating contest. From the coast back along the M4 and had some fun with the many thousands of Arsenal and Man united football fans comming back from Cardiff (who won anyway), well Neale had fun, he helped redesign a door panel of a little white car that tried to stop his progress when filtering by turning in front of him, nice.
Got back to DB's and BBQ was sorted, major feed a little nottice, Thanks to Claire for that one even thuogh DB slaved over a hot BBQ. The weather held and was reasonably hot all day. All in all another great day out, one to remember, and DB, told you it was only 45 mins back to Stafford.

The call of the Golden Arch's was too much

Dave and Neale couldn't decide if it was heavy crude oil or just light marine diesel so they thought they would do the foot test

Tnx....

.............to JB and AB and Neal and Ally for a great day out. We had a ball. 20 miles of filtering thro footie fans on the M4 - some of which needed their doors adjusting with neal's toesliders after getting pissed off after two bikes had gone through and thought that he shouldn't. The most fun was with a silver beemer car on a clearer M5 who thought we shouldn't go any faster than him so sat in lane 3 for ages. DB on point gave way to JB who had tutored him in the patent JB method of move-over-asshole type manouver. This involves approaching from behind [Q Bert] at a rate of knots with beam focussed on wing mirror. I can testify that this more agressive method yields results than my more usual and passive sit and wait. DB was unsucessful in this attempt after earlier sucess. The master was also twarted by the boxheaded twat. So the Midlands Massif Box Procedure was designed and implemented. JB kept boxheads retinas burning fixing his headlight on the driver's wing mirror meanwhile DB snuck up the blind side in stealth mode and took up position just in front of Beemers nearside headlight and gives some brakelight. In the confusion JB and Neal get by too. We end up with JB and DB sat on a headlight each with neal inside in lane 2. we slow a little and keep him there whilst the beemer's a/c struggles to control the rising temp inside the car :} After making the point we all assume normal cruising only to find Beemer trying to do us up the inside - No hope ! Neal takes it upon himself to sit in front of him whilst JB and I get some distance..watching the mirrors, we see Neal's headlight flash up as he cracks it open to catch us up and leave Beemer man in our wake.............That's the last we saw of him !! :}
