I wouldn't be so sure about that. I heard something about used car prices going through the roof :sisi2:
Where did you hear that?
As an aside, I read the other day that modern cars use between 1500 and 3000 silicon chips .

Thats a lot.

While looking for stuff for my hobby (being cruel to animals) I came across this sculpture…I do have an urge to buy it….although the price is a bit off putting….£10,800+VAT!

A ‘slightly acquired taste’ SLK…

I have little interest in big cars or Mercedes but the SLK would be one I would like.

Is that one longer at the back.

I arrived back to the car park just after two women who had a large carton. I heard the click of the SLK opening.

I was trying not to laugh out loud.

No way was the thing going to fit.
As I drove past the thing was half in half out the back of the car. :) :)

My sister in law used to have a Mercedes SLK, to say she wasn’t struck on it she kept it long enough although she hardly drove it, she now has a Mini which she hardly ever drives

Did she drive the Dacia ? To be fair that would put anyone off driving again…

Now if you wanted to wear your wife's underwear and smear yourself in peanut butter whilst filling in the finance application, then I'd be down with that. That'd be pretty strange but weirdly cool.
Why would that be different to any other day?

Scratched that itch, owned a 2000 SLK 320 for nearly 3 years. My nephew has it now so still get to drive it occasionally without the cost of ownership.

Always had the urge to own either a Chevy stepside pickup or a willy's jeep completely unexplainable as both are pretty shite in the real world and I don't much like yank vehicles at the best of times :nusenuse:

Another one is a brick engined bmw or even an early gs boxer, rode both plenty of times and think they are utter crap but still the urge persists :nusenuse:

Probably could have done any of the above a few years ago reasonably easily and didn't but not sure why

One that I find equally inexplicable is my habit of buying jackets, if I like it and have the cash I will happily saunter home with yet another then realize I have loads and only ever really wear two :roto2palm: current count is poor at 7 but only because I recently sold a 6 on ebay (bought a lined levi while I was looking at prices to sell mine though) no idea why this happens at all

I have a similar problem with hoodies. At the last count, I have at least 17 and yesterday I bought another . I like wearing them, so not totally unexplainable, but why so many, I have no clue.

I have a similar problem with t-shirts. I'm a sucker for a t-shirt with an unusual or funny graphic or logo. I have about 4 dozen at the moment, but that's only because the missus has threatened to throw out the older ones if I get any more.
