And that's prolly why you had such an enormous discount; his deposit would have been factored in to your saving. Also, you car is not exactly a big seller but as long as you're happy, that's what matters. I have to confess here though that the 3 GT was also on my list (along with the X3 and X5). Turned out on the day that I didn't so much dislike it, I just much preferred the estate. I'd choose the GT over a saloon though.
Good god, the man finally sees sense!!

The GT is what the 3 Series should have been all along, a massive boot and prairie like legroom unlike the saloon. Looks a damn sight better as well.

It's an odd one, the 3 GT. It's the answer to a question that nobody asked but at the same time it's also extremely practical for the reasons you state. Not sure about the looks though; because it's so leftfield, the wrong colour could kill it.

Can moderators split threads into two when they go totally off topic?

If I knew this was still going back and forth about something irrelevant to the topic then I wouldn't have opened it

Please stay on topic.

You really should open a new thread if you want to introduce something new.

Tut tut.:p

Seriously though, you would need a full time moderator rather than the sad excuses for moderators currently in place.

Like trying to nail a jelly to the ceiling.

As AB said, you'd need a full time moderator....especially the way that threads go off topic on this forum..! One of it's more endearing qualities....

Can we get a moderator with big tits as opposed to moderators that are big tits?

You don't want to be using nails for that. Grip fill be much easier.

Back to the topic of ULEZ

TFL emailed me today, 12 days after my application :

"Based on the information that you have provided we can confirm that your vehicle, registration <XXXXXXX> meets the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) emissions standards. This means you will not need to pay an ULEZ charge to travel in the zone, from 8 April 2019.
The vehicle compliance database will be updated to reflect the correct details of your vehicle, before the scheme commences."

Yep - Mine's an '07 but I believe all from '06 are identical. Could be 07 and 08 are just 06's that are late registered.

Don't hold your breath for them to update the database. Mine's still showing that I have to pay.
