Hi All w;;v

Quick thanks to Jaws for the welcoming email. Thought I'd lob a quick question to all you Bird lovers out there (or perhaps that should be 'in here') with regards to tyres. :dunno: I currently run a '93 CBR1000FN and whilst I technically own a 2000 model XXY I don't actually HAVE it yet so in preparation I'd just like to ask about tyres. :h My thou came with Michelin M90X's which I felt were ok, worn right out to the edge can't be too bad right? I then moved on to M100X's which seemed a bit better (and softer since they didn't last as long!) Then followed Bridgestone 020's which seemed even better (round the corners on the writing on the side! not to mention various bits of metal and plastic having managed to ground the belly pan at one point) it's never a good idea to go for a run after watching BSB racing is it? I guess this is a long way round to mentioning that in all the shops where I've been looking at bikes Carlisle, to Edinburgh, most of the Blackies seem to be wearing M90X's including the one I've bought and they are new tryes. What do you folks recommend?

cheers

good looking AND modest
Hi there, w;;v My opinion, get some Bt 020's or Avon Vipers, have a look on the "search" section on "tyres" you will be amazed at the amount of stuff to read, then make your own mind up!! :dunno:
good luck,

Tyres

Got a set of Continentals on mine (fitted by previous owner) .Seem to work quite well. The only problem I have is a slight shaking/wobble on the front, only noticable when you let go of the handlebars(head bearings are fine).
Going by what other people have said I'll go for a set of B020's next time though.
