Tyres and Pads

I need a new set of rubber and a set of rear pads for my 1999 ( proper before inj !) BB.

Anyone recommend a local (ish) tyreman who understands his rubber from his pressure ?

I live in Enfield EN1

Or a great mailorder site that does what it says on the tin .

I use Avon Storms, don't know any dealers near you though.

Jaws motorcycles supplies EBC HH sintered pads at great prices, these are excellent pads.
As a yard stick they work great on my Blue Inj model.
That said perhaps they will be a bit too fierce for the lower performance of your own bike

But have a word with Jaws first eh

Can't give any advice on tyre fitters in Enfield though

Tekmotive will fit at your gaff, not sure about their prices though.

Watling tyres on the A1, or if you don't mind dropping into Town try FWR in SE1

I prefer Carbon Lorraine SBK-3's to EBCs

Just put a set of HH pads on my BB, all round from Jaws. The difference they make over standard is staggering! :bow: :bow:
