Two 2 man tents!!

Having read the thread from Marcusfordus we're bringing two 2 man tents with us. It's a load exercise before we go on our big Eurpean adventure next month so if anyone is stuck for one they are welcome to the use of one of them for the BASH.

Umm - wouldn't count on the Lidl tents being brilliant. A friend took one to Le Mans a couple of years ago, and after waking up soaked one morning (rain, not beer or anything else!) and with the tent flat the next morning, he left it there!!!

Asda are doing a 4 man tent which will give 2 peeps a bit of room for ?29.99 tent size excluding front flaps is approx 1.2 x 1.5 x 1.5 high. Pack up fairly small.

tent size excluding front flaps is approx 1.2 x 1.5 x 1.5 high. Pack up fairly small.

This was about three years ago, so their stuff may well be better - but would suggest trying it first???

Best thing to do is use thompsons waterseal.... use that on my carp fishing gear... no leaks in gales and cloud busts...

Stinks a bit for the first few days.
