Trip to the Pyrenees

Just back from my first European bike tour with www.uprighttours.co.uk run by Alistair Norman, what a great setup he has and would recommend it to any one thinking of exploring the Pyrenees. There were 5 bikes and one pillion on the trip from the Whittlesea bike club. Three of us had autocom setups with PMR radios and never got separated from each other but I think my occasional singing annoyed the other two. Two of us also had a Garmin quest with audio and I think that was the dog?s bollocks if you don?t know where you are going. Vista cruse, bar risers and a custom gel seat from Ross Hunter made the miles more bearable.

Hi David.
Next time why not do the tour youself its much more fun.
I went on a pre set tour once and it was OK but better when you do it yourself....getting lost is all part of the fun, plus you can go when and where ever you want too, there are plenty of motels on the way down through France to choose from.
You can even get a boat to northern Spain if you dont want to ride all the way, and then tour down my neck of the woods which is Malaga way.
There is a lot to offer in Spain, and Portugal as well, not just northern Spain
Anyway glad you had a good trip and got home safe. w;;v
