If it's true that the Government is planning to slash trade tariffs on many imports, in the event of a No Deal, then it's a pretty bold move.

It could signal that they are now considering a No Deal exit as a viable option.

Maybe they’ll be built to a higher standard and be a bit more reliable.

Good riddance, I say. It's never sat well with me....an iconic British brand in the hands of the Germans.
Besides which, given the size of the cars, they should rename their model range as Midi and Maxi.

Don't think they bought the Maxi name when they bought Mini,.

But, I agree, they're not Mini in much the same way as the Fiat 500L is pretty much the same size as my Qashqai.

My dads first new car was a Maxi 1750HL.

The paint was called Black Tulip - which was really purple. With a red vinyl interior.

What was he thinking.

What would you suggest they should be doing?

Just asking, like.....

it was all approached wrong from the start, there should have been a cross party committee set up with the best people from all sides. Now they are just going round in circles, they people it is really going to hurt is the ones at the bottom of the pile. The over paid Mps won't be affected

If there's one thing that we've learned from Brexit it's the fact that MPs really don't give a flying f*ck about what the public think or want.

good looking AND modest
Just returned from Malta, they "the majority of Maltese" think project fear is hilarious, they explained that Malta, and it's immediate neighbors rely on British Tourists for their income, and they don't for a minute think that those countries will be shooting themselves in the trotter because of some twats in Brussels says so, and given that almost everyone we spoke to spoke English, the electrical sockets, cars, and all sorts all British, they even have the NHS over there, The Maltese themselves don't take any shit either, their government tried putting the price of cigarettes up, only by 50 cents, but that was too much for the Maltese, so they "went on strike" they refused the buy any fags at all, the Government reduced the price to below the old price, and all went back to normal. Project fear is just that!!

It's good in theory but as you say many are in it for themselves. The opposition have been negative from the start which is fine, but they have been remarkably quiet in suggesting alternatives and being constructive.
