Hello Blackbird Riders,

I have been looking around the website and haven?t seen much on trackdays. Does anyone attend trackdays from the club?

I work for MotorSport Vision ? owners of Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Cadwell Park and Snetterton, and we run our own trackday events. This year we are focusing on trying to encourage new participants onto our circuits to come and experience the fun and excitement of a trackday ? particularly if you attend with friends or other club members and take advantage of our group booking discounts for riders wanting to attend a trackday together.

On our Sessioned trackday events riders of all abilities are welcome from complete novices to experienced track day regulars. We have also just released a new product ; Novice Only Trackdays ? designed exclusively for riders with limited trackday experience.

Hi Sounds interseting Anyone want to do April 4th I am going to book in a day or 2 but just to see if we can do a group booking for that day its a novice only day.

I would be happy to organise something at Brands (I live 4 miles away and do nice tea/coffee/cakes as well as a reasonably well equipped tool kit for last minute fettling!!); if there is enough support I will talk to the man and get a price. They have day time sessions as well as evening sessions; the latter are really good!

Brands is about 10/15 minutes from Dartford Crossing on M25. It is a great venue for spectating as most of the Indy circuit can be viewed from pretty much anywhere around the circuit.

I have done a few sessions at Brands; the short Indy circuit is pretty challenging although only 1.2 miles. Theere are lots of 'ups and downs' which make it interesting, and I bet there is not a more demanding corner on any circuit in the country than Paddock Hill bend at the end of the start/finish straight; blind entry, off camber and it is so steep on the exit that you cannot see the tarmac far in front of you!! Hammer upthe hill into Druids..... magic!!:yo: Even at my Captain Slow speeds!!

The GP circuit is awesome but very expensive on the rare times it is available.

Please put a note on this thread if you are interested. Please indicate whether daytime/evening prefered - it will be a weekday as Brands is in use pretty much every weekend until about end September.
