    Hi all,
Done my first 240 mile round trip and have decided a would like a better seat,
anyone got a touring seat for sale or can recommend a supplier without getting
a bank loan to pay for it.
Are gel pads in seats any good and do they get hot if parked in the sun :dunno:
Any reviews or comments good or bad would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Ned :whi5tl:

I have a Melboy seat, Calais to Monaco in just under 11 hours and my arse was still fresh as a daisy.

Not sure on current prices as its mail for a quote but it was in the region of ?300 with ?100 refunded if you send your original seat back

Might be better off in the 'wanted' section?

For what it's worth I had two Corbyns and they get top marks from me. They make you feel like you are sitting 'in''the bike as they are nicely sculpted, rather than'on' it like the standard seat.

I honestly didn't realise how plank like the standard seat was until I tried anCorbyn.....no going back.

You may want to check this chap out, I and a few others have seats made by him and they are a really comfy seat, he will make the seat to your spec's and doesn't charge the earth, here's one he did for me, 1 gel pad lowered and done inside a week. http://tonyarcher.co.uk/

There is an ebay one for exchange if you can do without yours for a few days. The chap is called digger and I had one and sold it on to someone in here and they quite like it. Plenty on the bay as usual though and agree with Andy, ask a mod to move this into the wanted section There are quite a few decent bird seat customisers so search and a bit of time looking may help.

I think the original poster can move the thread themselves using 'thread tools'.
