Touring alone

As anyone done it, i'm thinking of going around Europe again but alone, will i have to pay extra for rooms in the cheap hotels or the like!

I have done it on the Bird and on the R1.

No problems and never had to pay extra / surcharge.

Done it for the last 5 years or so on various bikes and never had to pay extra - almost everywhere charges per room rather than per person.

Have a look under www.hotelformula1.com . Every room about 28euro.
Not 4 star mind but clean, pretty new and you find them all over europe. Done it myself a few times.

Also Etap hotels and Accor hotels - Accor is the parent company for Formule 1 and Etap. Etap are much the same idea as the Formule 1 chain, but ensuite and a little bit more (4 or 5 euros) a night. All very easy to use, just turn up any time of day or night and use an automatic machine with a credit/debit card if reception's closed.
