Your panels are scratched.. so was trying to lighten the mood, by asking in a non direct way what happened to your panels that they are scratched..., but now it doesn't matter as confusement snuck in instead of a lighter mood

I'm looking for a RH panel for injected bike, few scratches are not a problem providing all mount points intact. Looking to build up a set for respray as I want to keep my OE ones intact.

Ah! I'm not very bright after a nightshift. Come to think of it, not very bright at the best of times lol.
Mine got damaged when the previous owner dropped it. He was such a clever chap :xm

Thanks for the pics Tribal.

Thats where mine is marked too, the upper fairing bolt.

Not much betwen the two, and the decal would need changed to match mmy other one.

If Silverfox is still interested.............

Repairing your bird

Hi, I live near Huddersfield and have extremely secure storage space. If you wish I will recover it for you for free and arrange it to be put back to as new, plastics welded and resprayed to better than Honda OE. Will need to pay local man (magician) for plastic welding and respray. Costs depend on what you specify, ie Honda transfers / stickers set circa ?250 !!!!!
Aftermarket, not exactly the same but close ?20. Can show you mine. If stickers lacquered in then its a little more. You can come down, stay with me for weekend while we rebuild it together and ride home when plastics are done. Will feed you and offer beers etc. You will need to buy back the wreck, Haggle, they will come down on price. Timescale will depend on how quick Steve Edwards can do the plastics.

Ring Grant on 0787 625 1906 if thats any help

Good Luck

Grant,
That is a truly fantastic offer and would have taken you up on that, if unable to sort what I have so far and had enough funds available at the this time:bow::bow::

Getting bike back by withdrawing claim in agreement with insurance as no one else involved etc.

Its being transported back to Glasgow and currently sourcing bits and pieces, so far have RH lower fairing (thanks to Tribal Wolf @tu*-although its is in slower black colour) and a top fairing bracket from Ebay.

Also have some sources of repair and paint nearer home via a work colleague and AV8TOR.

Plan will be to get bike road worthy and get back out while the summer lasts (and injury permitting) and then look at getting painted when the winter comes.

I can live with the customised look of red and black for a while-I will tell people its an anniversary edition :-0)

Seriously, thanks to all on here for offers of help:bow:

I had a minor spill on mine last year. more like dropping it while moving rather the a crash. I didn't call the insurance company. I managed to break the left side panel and the nose cone when the mirror hit the deck. The right panel had a couple of marks on it where the last owner dropped it. I decided to replace the lot. The full set cost me 1040quid including delivery to France. The new panels come with the decals on already. I got my parts from Dave Silver although I should have gone to Lings Honda as they are the biggest Honda spares importer in Europe and supplied Silvers anyway. I have to say my bike looks like new now and has that new bike "sheen", well worth the cost. By the time you pay to have your panels repaired, painted and buy the decals you would probably be better off getting original parts.
