Why oh why do I put myself through such torture. Currently self isolating prior to getting a new knee next week. Having time on my hands while waiting for paint to dry (decorating bedroom) I decided to watch Julia Bradbury walking in the Lake District, Blencathra and Castle Crag.
I'm now thoroughly pissed off at being reminded of just what I'm missing out on. When I've got my new knee and done the rehab it looks like I still won't be able to celebrate with a bit of fell walking in the Lakes. Wonder if I'll be able to get away with going up Pen-y-ghent or Wherstead.

That's because they've taken her normal shoe size and forgot to allow for the thick walking socks and reduce the size accordingly.
She's still worthy of the title that she bears, The Walking Man's Crumpet.
