theres no way they come close on quality or gauge of steel used

I used to be a snap-on dealer and can assure you that a halfords box is nowhere near the quality of a snap-on but also the price is nowhere near that of a snap-on!!
If its for your own personal use on the odd occasion that you work on your car/bike then the halfords box is ideal, just dont expect it to last a lifetime if you use it everyday or transport it around. You pays your money you takes your choice!
