Tomtom rider warning

Hi, I would like to issue a warning to anyone thinking of purchasing a Tomtom rider GPS, I had one fitted to my Blackbird and on it first run the mounting cradle snapped of while I was between two corners. I manage to catch the Tomtom with my left hand before it dropped down between the clocks/bodywork and the forks. I returned it today to Hein gericke and they said they would chase up Tomtom on this problem. I had heard talk of the mounting cradles giving trouble so I was on a trail run before going to France and had only gone 6 miles when it snapped . As you can imagine I was a little shocked to say the least and when I thought about it later, what if it had jammed the steering or if it have been a tight bend, so please heed this serious warning. I have photos of the damage if anyone wants them emailed.

Thanks

We mounted ours into the headstock using the mirror mount so far so good.
