Never ever give a dog a tennis ball.
One Christmas day night one of our prison German shepherds choked to death on one, handler was heartbroken

I've heard experts say that you shouldn't throw sticks for dogs either as they can get them end on and cause injuries

When my daughter lived at Shafton she was walking her dogs, she came across a young lad with a retriever, he was distraught as he had thrown a stick & the dog chased it, freak accident the stick punctured the dog’s chest, the young lad pulled the stick out & the dog died, I believe I posted it on here at the time.

Mouse traps!
Little buggers have found their way in again, though I'm thinking they may have come through from next door,
after new neighbours with a cat recently moved in.

We had four meeces in 24 hours last week with the kitchen floor being re-laid. We get the occasional field mouse but it comes with living where we do. I'm hoping we've seen the end of them now that Mrs P has plugged the likely entrance holes with wire wool and we've got the pup.
I find Mars bars are good bait in the traps
Peanut butter is the best. Little twats love it. I begrudge them it though and it's a swine to clean out of them humane traps.

Tell you tomorrow! Need to build up courage first!:risas3:
I was thinking of that but the Civets are caged for their shit and it's a pretty cruel process and the coffee is apparently disappointing. Be careful which one you buy, the proper free-range organic is supposed to be the best. If memory serves, it's supposed to be the most expensive coffee out there.
