Four power line adaptors. WiFi here is dreadful! That'll learn me for buying a proper solid house with solid walls instead of the paper mâché shite that we lived in previously.

A cup of tea and an ice cream at Torry common after a lovely 140 mile tour around the north of Somerset and Devon.
Stopped for me sarnies overlooking Wales and the Bristol Channel, got some nice pics of the Bird with some Exmoor ponies in the background.

I did warn you!

Have you investigated receiving wifi via the airwaves rather than cable? My pal in LllallldlllfflleerrrryyyfffflllllyGogogogogogoch gave up on cable and had the over the air stuff installed which works atreat - means no landline needed which is a £ bonus.

I'll ask him for some info if you aren't already on it.

Thick walls and WiFi... not a good combination.

We never had a problem before but then our house was a new build with walls made by Andrex. If there's a nuclear war, this place could double up as a bunker!

I'll see how I get on with the powerline adaptors, which should be coming today. I'll hardwire my computer to the internet and if that works then I'm good. If not, I'll let you know.

No, it's not. I'm going to hook one of the boosters to a power line adaptor, which should hopefully solve the problem of poor WiFi in the south wing. If that doesn't work, then I'll be asking Beaker to contact his imaginary Welsh mate for details on his set-up.

Akin to using several exclamation marks to articulate a weak point. Fact.

I'm not sure I'd qualify for this. I'm in my office, upstairs in the south wing, which is probably the worst place in the house and I've just clocked 18.2 download and 12.3 upload. Our bedroom in the north wing is equally as bad but that might improve once I rig the booster at that end up to a power line adaptor.

A butler is a better solution.
