OK I admit it was yesterday

I thought I'd give an airbag vest a go. It's configured via a phone app and I can swap the modes between Street and Track with a tap of a button. Amazingly light and only takes a little more space than my normal back protector.

Solder sleeves, are they plastic tubes with the solder already inside and you just insert the wires and heat?

These i think?

Have you used them before? Are they any good? They've been being advertised a lot on Instagram lately and thought about getting some.

Personally no..prefer a bit of crimping meself.

Full review when you've used them then?

Ordered some waterproof bullet connectors for the new Beast..couple of led flush mounted lights to be fitted.
Not spots/fogs..just a bit more road prescence.

I used these for the first time, last week.
As a spark, I'm not normally too bad at soldering but I was modifying my SRL Sena head set so I could use in ear speakers.
(Copied one that WIZZ had done on the VFR forum)
Decided to give these a go because of the tiny sized cable used in a jack plug lead.

I was very impressed with the ease of use.
But I would be interested to know what percentage the lead content is to be able to melt the solder with an electric paint stripper!

Yep! Exactly like the pics, they’re very good, a solder joint, glue barrier and heat shrink in one go, ideal and when done correctly very strong, secret is not to get them too near the heat otherwise they can burn, especially the small ones.
Using them on 22 awg cable.

Bought some Alpinestars Andes V2 jacket & jeans to replace my 12 year old Hein Gericke stuff. Should arrive just in time for the rain to stop & the weather to warm up.

Also bought two pints of milk and some coffee beans from my favourite on-line coffee bean shop. Think I might make myself a Latte...
