Most of the Scottish shortbread sold in Gretna is made in the North of England .

Details,please!!

Going to roof chop my mates v8 moggie minor, its already channelled but still needs a couple of inches out of the roof to make it right, we have been messing with this thing for 10 years or more but hopefully it should be on the road next year

After that I will be doing some sort of rat rod for myself, I have a few ideas of what to do but an ex London taxi is favourite at the moment, just depends on what I can find at the time for the right price, finding an older car in reasonable condition that's has a chassis rather than being monocoque is getting harder by the day but whatever I end up with will be chopped as I have always loved the look

Roof chop on a car ;)
Been there done that..MkII 1600 GT Cortina
Chopped it down 3" but still used the same windscreen !
I 'V'ed' the front pillars and sloped the windscreen back.. did the same to the front doors
The front door windows were a pain to source but the rear ones I replaced with sheet steel and put port hole windows in.. same for the rear screen

Looking at the moggie its going to be pretty simple, the screen will be coming straight down on the same angle as will the doors & b posts, the rear screen could be a pain but dropping the front 3/4 of the roof & plating up the resulting gap isn't an issue, cutting the glass is the only thing that bothers me about it to be honest

We had looked at sloping the windscreen but neither of us like the look & I cant see an advantage in doing that, the rear may have to slope but I'm hoping to keep the angle as is by moving it forward an inch after chopping the height only time will tell

No, sloping a moggie screen would just look wrong.. on the Cortina it looked dead right :)
