Same problem here mate a house move 8 years ago followed by another 5 years ago means there is still stuff put away safe that will probably never see the light of day again
After moving back home to Wales, I discovered a couple of months back that I’ve lost a watch strap and deployant clasp. I’d managed to ‘lose’ quite a few other things too, but they’ve all turned up. Not this strap though. My friends at the boutique I used to haunt in Singapore gave it to me for my 50th birthday :(

When we moved into our previous house one of my medals went missing & has still not turned up, I have always had my suspicions as to who took it but with no proof & only my bias against this lying cheating arrogant narcissist what can I do?

Report it stolen and you should be able to apply for a free replacement.....

Took my pushbike to a guy in Exeter yesterday to convert to an ebike for about a third of the price for a new one, bargain. Unfortunately my knees are telling me it’s time and it’ll keep me going rather than give up.
Also contemplating an Abba skylift to replace my hydraulic bench as the bike can be turned around on it in my very small garage and trying to pull it backwards off the bench against the gradient of the drive is getting impossible. Anybody got experience with one?

Yes, boutique.

'Boutique' is the term given to manufacturers' sole or exclusive dealerships e.g. a car dealer that sells only Dacia and is owned by Dacia is a Dacia boutique. Snigger. Sounds better than 'dealer'.

Yes it’s French twatflattery for a shop selling stuff Andrew, surprised you don’t know that seeing you live near there :p.
But it’s English for places selling feather boas and dangly earrings.
