Fender stand for the office to park me bass on. I did buy a cheap chinky one form Temu for about £2 but it's about as stable as me with half a pint in me and certainly not enough to trust it holding me Fender bass. I'm so impressed, I think I'll get another one for the house - I need an additional one anyway.

Oh, and (last week) a Fender Mustang Micro headphone amp so I can practice without disturbing the pups, Mrs P, colleagues.

A load of sleepers.

The first time I bought sleepers for the garden was about 30 years ago. Solid oak, weighed a ton and some still had the cast iron railway fittings attached. Fantastic things. Thirty years on they are still in the same condition, despite many having soil behind them, as when I installed them at our last house. They cost £11 each delivered.

Today I paid £24 plus vat for what is little more than softwood sleepers with preservative impregnated and the buggers charged me £20 delivery. i know they won’t last more than maybe five/seven years if in contact with soil.

Just saying.
