I read an old post from way back where members were discussing best way of preventing their fairing lowers from being scratched to hell.

I'm suffering the same probs now and wondered if there was a good solution to this. Pete said he used clear plastic stick on sheets (what, like a clear Fablon type thing Pete?) but I wondered if it was possible to get something like a sheet of titanium that was thin enough to shape to the lower fairing - any ideas Jaws? :dunno:

Fanks for posting that, I'll check it out. I wonder how many of these pads I'll need, I hope just one each side otherwise could be pricey! :bandit:
