I am sure all on here are very aware of all the rip offs that are around.. The very obvious bank ones to the equally obvious 'you have one a million' things..
However the Ebay type ones are getting very clever nowadays.. They are using Ebays own promo stuff to scam folk into giving up their password and user name.
Here is a way to ensure you never fall foul..
If you get something that is supposed to have come from Ebay, do not be lazy and simply click on the enclosed link..
Go to Ebay ( NOT FROM ANY LINK WITHIN ANY EMAIL ! Either type it in your self or use your own saved favorite )
Once on Ebay click on My eBay and log in.
If the mail came from Ebay you will find it listed in your own My eBay area.
NEVER EVER LOG ON TO EBAY FROM A LINK IN AN EMAIL !
On another issue, this is now my seasonal reply to scammers telling me I am a winner ( or whatever )
Please feel free to copy and paste and reply to others.. It really is full of good cheer ! LOL !!
You know it might be better if you bothered to mail shot areas with phony lottery numbers.. how can you expect anyone to fall for your very very pathetic attempt at a scam if you do not work at it even a little ?
Heres an idea for you..
Over the coming holiday period, why dont you pop your self and your entire family into a nice closed room and turn on the gas ?
The world will be slightly better off without you and your blood sucking family members in it..
Oh and of course, as always, your mail has been fwded to every criminal agency in the world..
You will especially like the bit that I have added to the bottom where you say you support certain terrorist factions and you offer me explosives at a very good price.
Whats that ? I added that bit and it aint true ?? Well it is as true as the rest of the crap and you can bet your life it will be sure to catch the eye of anti terrorist organisations around the world.
Now, save us all a lot of trouble and FOAD you moron
