Thieving B@stards

T.C

Been there, and had one

Went out to the garage this lunchtime just before I left for the Reading v Plymouth game to get some shims out for a buddy who is in desperate need only to find the door ajar and the security bolts and locks lying on the floor.

Looked inside, bike is still there and in tact thank god, but the thieving scumbags had gained entry and removed my Snap-On top chest with about ?6,000 worth of tools, all my engine shims and a few other specialist tools. All told about ?8,000 worth of tools nicked but they left the bike alone.

So, until I can get new security devices fitted to the garage, my remaining tool chest which contains a similar value of tools is now in hiding as is the bike, and i have to go through all the hassle of cataloging everything missing and putting it through the insurance.

If anyone in the Reading or Central Berkshire area is offered Snap-On tools at a cut down price, then treat it with suspicion and let me know please

Know how you feel TC, this makes my blood boil for you

The dirty scumbag who lost me my house and home, and consequently changed the course of my life, also thieved my lifelong collection of tools and equipment, - stuff I'd built up over a 20 year period.

Being thieved from takes a lot of dealing with in my opinion (especially when, as in my case, you are advised not to proceed with any action 'cos you have no chance of winning, but every chance of incurring a shit load more expense. Big up for the British legal system - NOT).

Hope they find your tools and you can get closure on this one mate - best of luck.

(If any lowlife fencer offers me any cheap snap-on gear I'll beat him severely around the head with it and THEN give you a shout!)
