Bought my BIRD in late 2010. I like to think she's looking better now than when I first bought her.

Then, on the left. Too many stickers and needing a bit of tlc.

Now, on the right. This was taken Thursday after a three hour cleaning session. I'm replacing the cans soon with some Motad Venom GP's. The # 58 is a nod of respect to Marco.

All the best for 2012 everyone. @tu*

"Swirls" no offence,:dunno: but it's something "most" of us with soft Honda paint have, and it's how we wash the paintwork that doesn't help, here's a picture of what "swirls" look like, had a glass of "Chavbrini" and feeling it!!:puke: bloody pills!!

put together next to "swirl free" paint you can really see the difference!!

The cowl is new and high gloss black, as it left the factory. What you see in it is reflections. The rest of the bike is a dark satin gun metal colour which can appear as black depending on the light. I took the clean pic with an iphone and the bike was sitting under a marquee so was subject to different lighting hence the appearance of black and grey. The pic below was taken with a decent camera and in better lighting which shows the true colour.

Where did you get the "58s" from , may I ask ? Or, did you make them up yourself? Would like to stick a couple on my bike. Oh ,shit ! I've just realized they are red , so they won't exactly stand out on my reddun !! :xm

They will show up at night because they are reflective. @tu* On my FJR I have a larger non reflective 58 on the screen. I have a spare if you want it or you will find them on a well known auction site.
