Would you choose to be stuck behind a motorhome?

I and many others were stuck behind a caravan for the whole of the A26 from the A27 to Newhaven yesterday, was down to little more than 20mph in places.

Thats the funny rthing.. It is more usual for us to get stuck behind someone else... And oddly, it very often a white or silver car

When I meet a car on a small road with passing places it is amazing how often car drivers don’t actually know how to reverse. One occasion in the mountains in France I met one old man (pot meet kettle) who got out of his car and demanded that I reverse. Not a chance pal, I’ll put the kettle on and wait here if you like, I’ve got all the time in the world. Don’t mess with a grumpy biker forced to ride a 4tonne motorhome

I often use a single track lane to get from my house to the main road (A15). Most times if I meet a car coming the other way, we both put our N/S wheels on the verge & can pass easily. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to pull onto the grass on my bike because of some k**bhead in a new Range Rover, BMW or most recently Porsche Cayenne thinks he owns the road. Even my Merc SLK seems to be more 'off road' than the Chelsea tractor owners who've recently moved into village.
