Well, sad though it undoubtably is....why was she left on the pavement all that time by her neighbours...?
Why didn't they lift her up and move her indoors...or put her in a vehicle and take her to hospital...? Or call the police or fire brigade to do it if they couldn't...?

If that was someone I knew and they were transportable then there's no way I would wait more than an hour for an ambulance.

Did you pick up on what I was getting at in the first photo?

If it's the fact that they got a mattress under her, then yes..... If she could move that far then she could be moved further, or into that car.

She broke her foot & there are steps to a house clearly visible in the picture so why the hell didn't these supposed friends & family get her inside to wait ? why didn't the householders do it themselves? I know damn well I would its not like it was much more than a broken foot to begin with, absolutely disgusting on all counts !

There’s a car by the side of her with a woman in the passenger seat; by definition, there’s two people in the car. There’s a woman leaning on the car, one almost out of shot bisected by the right edge of the photo, and the person behind the camera. That’s at least five people (maybe four if one of the others is the driver of the car). To my simple mind, there’s little in the way of excuses for not loading her into the back of the car and taking her to hospital. It seems she might have had weight issues but if someone could get a mattress under her, they could have got her into the car. I also think she had some means of mobility; it was her foot that was broken, not her spine.
It’s all very well blaming the NHS, the Tory party, etc. but there’s no excuse for those fuckwits to stand by and do nothing.

The world is full of people who simply stare when action is needed.

You should have seen me sorting all the starers out on an Easyjet flight last week when there apparently wasn't room in the overhead lockers for the hand luggage.

Twats.

Bizarre in the extreme.
Certainly a mindset being exposed.

Back seats down, shelf out. Chuck her in the boot on some blankets. Let’s roll, use someone else’s car in case she says her neck hurts and Trumpton come along and insist on making it a convertible to get her out.

These people walk amongst us, namely Poo Plow.

Interesting comment Derek.

I only know what I'm doing about 20% of the time (on a good day), the rest I make up as I go along and just do my best.

When I was working that 20% was probably about 7.274%.

It seems a common answer for when someone needs help/assistance, take a photo while you work out
a) who can I blame (clearly not me)
b) is there likely to be any money in it for me.

It's a sad state of affairs when people are more likely to get their phone out to take photos rather than assist in any way.

I think I mentioned it before when some bloke out of his head on god knows what jumped in the river me & another guy sorted out getting the cops etc to the scene & they had to deal with many gawkers instead of doing what was needed, I lost it when some twat got his phone out to video it all & threatened to chuck the fucker in
