The difference between Welsh & English

You may recall when Wales won a couple of rugby games last year how certain people on here decided to gloat, well let me remind you of a saying 'What goes round, comes round' however being English we have not gloated or even broached the subject until you have had time to get over your disappointment at being humiliated at Twickers yesterday, it only remains for me to say in traditional English style, 'Hard luck lads, better luck next time'

Ah, the satisfaction of it all on Saturday. Great atmosphere in Colchesters finest Rugby pub and we didnt even gloat (too much) at the two Welsh blokes who turned up. man8um All credit to them for supporting the team that came second in the face of overwhelming odds. Yep its the RIGHT shaped ball - and we are STILL world champs. And in what year did our "national" game last achieve that result...??
PS Bad luck Italy - robbed by a non-try. Gonna be a great competition.

Nice thread Derek. It certainly was a most satisfying result. And Charlottes bloke didn't play either:tosser: . Guess some of the other comments are from those who like the other game where they try their hardest to fall over whenever an opposing player gets near enough to them. Failing that they fall over the pitch as if they'd been shot with an elephant gun. And well done Scotland:bow: .

just gotta say well done to england for the win...from what i saw of it(too busy drinking and chatting)wales played crap appart from the ODD moment of brilliance(dwain peel/martin williams try).peeps say about the players out through injury/suspension,but same goes for all the other nations so :dunno:,YES,i am dissapointed...but it's only a game eh!

enjoyed the craic up in anglesey with the locals(english and welsh),got thoroughly hammered with guinness @ ?1 a pint on promotion ,but i paid the price on sunday uke: c7u8
