Over night about 1/2" of snow fell
No doubt the whole area will come to a complete stop

Hatches were well and truly battened down here yesterday after forecast for heavy overnight snow.

I don't think it even rained, although the sky is very heavy and foreboding but hopefully it's a little too warm at 6c.

As a matter of interest, what are the indicators that Norfolk has ground to a complete halt as it will be difficult to tell.

It was pissing down with rain at some stage here overnight but that’s nothing unusual.

It is now lashing down with the forecast snow here, albeit in an unfrozen version.

About 4.30am we had a slight dusting of snow here in Berkshire.

By the time I got up, it had gone and now we are basking in bright sunlight (albeit that it is still very cold)
