hello peeps, just thought i would drop a quick thanks to those of you that popped in to see me at the new Hein Gericke shop in Aintree, on your way to blackpool. hope the gear you got is ok !
was nice to see some new faces and being able to put a face to a name now.
remember that the official big opening is on sat & sun the 12th-13th feb.
named star riders for saturday are Rutter and carl harris, MCN couch and crew.
should be a gret day. down side is i think by then i would have returned the Bird back to Mickyb999 so officialy bikeless till the funds are available to get myself my own Bird ( blue of course !!! ) ( sits back and waits for the name calling to start !)
so anyway, thanks again to those who made the diversion to my store, really nice to see you all. hope to see you all again soon at some point, sorry if i didnt get much time to chat, was running round like a headless chicken :}
all the best, and maybe see you on the 12-13 feb for the big one.

also i want to get mickyb999's bird totally overhalued, how much is a full going over, just passed 20k.

don't force it mate, place it in the lifted position and slowly guide it back into the side pod, slighly loering and raising it as you go, until it clicks back in place.
if you are still not sure then whizz up and i will go through it again with you mate. and yes coffee will be on next time mate :}

Well actually a 20 K service is about ?20 ! But a full work up, from valve clearences, oils, filters, fork strip, brakes strip, in fact everything through to rear shock pivot bolts I would expect to be from ?200 - ?300... In other words about half the cost of a main dealer !
