Pleased to say, Bev & I stood in the garden expecting to be the only ones, suddenly doors opened & neighbours joined us, daughter rang, her next door neighbour (Nurse) was crying as everyone was applauding.
Small gesture that touches so many & brings communities together

Whole street and most of the estate were out.

Bit embarrassed by the Mither-in-law just down the road banging a saucepan.

We went out and clapped, as did all bar one of the neighbours in the square

It worked well down here.

Friend of Bev’s lives near the coast & she says the tankers out at sea made a right racket at 8pm.

We went out and maybe 5 out of a possible 24 households in the street were also out.
Disappointed that none of the OAP's in the street showed their faces.

Wife's niece is an A&E nurse and she was diagnosed with it a couple of days ago. Hopefully she'll not get it badly.

I stood outside the front door at 8pm, nobody else bothered but I could hear some distant clapping & whistling, as there was nobody else around I walked about 15 houses down & stood on my lonesome clapping in front of a mates house whose wife works as a critical care nurse, fecking disgusted that I was the only one in a street of 70 odd houses to bother :(

My mate saw me though, him & the kids gave me the thumbs up through the window, no sign of his missus though I guess she is on a late shift but they know I bothered & that's all that matters to me :)
