My whole life I have been a tea drinker ( decaf for the past 10 years ), but recently I have dropped from about 6 teas a day to two, replacing the middle four with coffee.. Maureen has done the same
We have both noticed an improvement to mobility alertness and energy
OK, the coffee is not decaf, but I cannot put the quite noticeable changes down to just a bit of caffeine !

So what is your preferred hot beverage ?

Can't stand tea, never have done. What I find really annoying in a cafe, my wife gets a pot of tea and I get just a cup of coffee, both usually the same price.

First drink of the day is coffee from my Tassimo, rest of day more often than not it’s tea but if I’m at my brother David’s house It’s coffee as he always has good quality stuff & his tea is too strong for my taste.

Decaf Earl Grey but we too have been drinking more coffee (decaf) recently - mainly as the latter has improved and actually almost tastes of coffee these days.

I would add that a friend has a Nespresso machine and the decaf coffee from that is superb.

Tea 100%. I don't mind the occasional coffee but tea has always been my preferred choice.

Being teetotal and on restricted fluid intake of 1.5 litres a day maximum anyway, even over christmas it was a cups of tea and new year was celebrated with a cuppa. (y)

I have always been a coffee drinker but due to a recent bout of ill health I was told to cut out caffeine completely, I had a bad head for days & felt lethargic for a week :(

I don't like any decaf coffee so now its decaf tea for me as it still tastes like tea but I don't half piss a lot now

Clueless in most things
Tea has more caffiene than coffee, until the hot water is added the coffee retains more of it, true. Normally drink coffee but if man poorly or winter time, I prefer a sweet tea

I drink Puerh tea or occasionally green tea (the proper stuff from China, not that shit in supermarkets). I can’t drink coffee as I’m caffeine sensitive and get hit with debilitating migraine. Not a fan of tea unless I’m in India and will have massala chai.

Coffee, lots of....
Probably 10 cups a day!
Trouble is the standard of coffee in customers houses varies enormously, so often ask for tea.

Almost 45 years a tea drinker !
More recently drinking 10+ cups a day with milk and 1 sugar

And had dental work done and couldn’t drink hot drinks or dairy for a few days ... this turned out to be 2 weeks ...
Then when given the OK, I tried tea and found it tasted horrible ...
Some 8 months later on I’ve only had 2 cups of tea since (both were horrible)

I drink water and occasionally hot chocolate !

Coffee .... can’t stand the stuff !!

And to think that some on here think I have issues........

Can't start the day without a couple of coffees (ground - usually something from Taylors) , but the rest of the day it's tea (usually something from Twinings).

Don't see the point in decaf anything, unless it's for health reasons. Fruit teas are for mincers.

Apparently we use medium roast Italian stuff..
Must say it is lovely coming back from the morning dog walk and newspaper purchase to find the house smelling of percolated coffee
The pot is on all day quietly bubbling away, getting topped up, and continuing to spread that lovely aroma
