Some do, others set up their own charities and foundations but what's really needed is for everyone to pay proper taxes.

I don’t agree that the rich should necessarily pay a higher rate of tax, if someone works their arse off building a business & gives employment to others who work nine to five, why should they pay 40% of their earnings to the Government?

I agree with that principle, I don’t agree that ‘taxing the rich’ is anything other than counterproductive. It has been tried before and just doesn’t work.

When I come to power businesses that earn in the uk will pay tax in the uk…Amazon, Starbucks and many others take a step forward.

Schemes such as ‘film finance’ to support the British film industry will be scrapped…if it can’t support itself then it can wither on the vine just like every other industry that has gone into decline over the years. Tax breaks will be given for ‘green’ investment and direct investment into the social services and health network.

All the actors in Mrs Browns Boys will be visited again by Hmrc and publicly humiliated as tax dodgers.

Sorted.

Fact.

ps I have worked in philanthropy in a private bank and yes there are many ‘rich’ people out there who do a lot of good but don’t shout about it from the rooftops.
