Makoto Tamada proved his status as a serious rival to Valentino Rossi in the MotoGP World Championship this season with a stunning lap time on the final day of preseason tests at Sepang on Sunday.

Tamada was the only rider to dip under the 2?01 mark, stopping the clock at 2?00.955 in just his third test aboard Michelin tyres.

He is a clever bugger ya know. WAY to cagey to let people know what he has and what he can do..

I agree, Tamada a good each way bet, but the GP crown will not move on until the Dr. does methinks !
