Not a lot of help, but if it is the van I think it is it is pretty straight with no faults worth mentioning

The price is good too, much cheaper and I would have called scam, much dearer and not worth it.
I will see what I can find out on the other forum I infest

OK.. Does not seem to be known by anyone I know. but a few interesting things came up
Lunars have a reputation.. They are nick named leaky Lunars !!
But... as it is pre 2007 good chance it will be ok, but everyone spoke to reckons it might well be worth investing in a damp meter to check.
My opinion for what its worth is that this time of year, if the van has been sat for just a couple of weeks, you may get a reading indicative of damp that does not really exist
AND............. If you have not got experience of using a damp meter the readings will be very hard to interpret and you could walk away from a perfectly solid van
My advice would be go see it, and simply sniff !
There is no disguising a damp van from the nose !!
The bonnet paint flake was and is a known issue.. Apparently Fiat suffered a contamination problem in 2006 /7 and it is very common

Someone else reported an issue round the rear wheel arches not being sealed from new, but this seemed rare as only mentioned by one person

I have taken another look at the van in question and I still reckon it is a good buy. Not a bargain, just a good buy
I would lob a cheeky offer of £18K after you have looked around it.. I notice it has been replated to 3850 kg which is a good thing becuase as a 3500 kg jobby they were VERY tight on payload
Road tax will be cheaper at £165 a year, and insurance is usually cheaper on PHGV too
But do make sure you have C on your licence ! If not you are not licenced to drive it

It has a tow bar so that is £500 worth
A bike rack, another £250
Fiamma lock (About £45 or so and you can get extra keys cut pretty much anywhere

Any other concerns do not hesitate to ask Mickey
