A little early to post this but I have had so many requests to get it on the board I decided it best to bow to pressure !
Yes, we are back at the Swaffham venue for the 2023 ( and 23rd year of the event ! ) as requested by pretty much all who attended
The venue is 5 minutes walk from a quite big market town with lots to see and visit
The site has a good elsen point and fresh water ( both on opposite side of the building thankfully LOL !! )
The only fly in the ointment is the cost. The venue price is almost three times that of Thetford, so am afraid ticket prices are a little more next year
The price PER HEAD ( as always ... got to consider all the solo travellers ) will be £17.50, but that is for the WHOLE event. from 3pm Wednesday the 24th of may until Monday the 29th( might get away with Tuesday but we will have to see )
That equates to £7 per night for a couple ( and dogs and kids under 16 if you have them ! ) which is pretty good
We will be returning to the normal format now the gov has stopped messing about the dates
Friday night Fish and chips and hopefully a quiz laid on by @Gaston aires ? ( Let me know mate
)
Saturday morning motorcycle ride out
Saturday evening live music and charity auction ( got BIG news on that for all our regulars... see note below )
Sunday morning Moped madness ( We supply all the peds and crash helmets if wanted )
Entry is free and the over all winner gets a nice trophy
In the afternoon if needs rise, another quick auction to sell any bits still up for grabs
Also if the weather is fine we may have another mass gave of Bobs Blocks in the afternoon
Sunday evening it is 60's - 70's disco night courtesy of @meanders ( if that's ok for you Robin ? ) plus trophy presentation
Monday it is goodbyes and thank yous
Tickets will go on sale late November
