Can anyone advise me on what adjustments can be made to improve the standard suspension settings

Last weeks MCN
3mm more rear preload (wound down thread showing 41mm)
rear rebound 3/4 turn from hard

Thanks for reply, will try at weekend.
Also heard about number of Bird owners putting spacer rings on rear suspension? Can anyone explain please.

most peeps have gone for 6 mm spacer, on top of the rear shock, gives more ground clearance, and quicker steering. get them from jaws, or make yer own


3/4 on the damping was too hard hard for me, so went back to 1 1/4 turns out, preload on mine is about 30mm showing .
