Still kickin' it!
Lorraine and I had a brilliant weekend break, first, visiting stonehenge on Saturday (31 July), and then on to Brands Hatch on Sunday for the WSB rounds.
Stonehenge is a place that Lorraine has long wished to visit, and my "quiet indifference" was immediately obliterated by my first sight of this truly awesome structure! On a brilliantly-illuminated summer's day, there was no warning of what was to come as we crested the brow of a hill to be greeted by the power of stonhenge! :bow:

On Sunday we were on our travels again - this time for our first visit to Brands Hatch. Again - beautiful weather - a massive crowd - and as much incident-packed racing as we could wish for! It was much too exciting to be taking photographs of the main events, but I've included a couple to try give a sense of the atmosphere and the closeness of the racing.
Because of our unfamiliarity with the layout of the track, we spent quite a bit of time moving around between races. It seemed as if, wherever we stopped to spectate, there was a "racing incident" - a brilliant day, because every rider walked away relatively unscathed. Brands is a fantastic track and I can't wait to do my first Track Day there! :yo:
Summary: Two brilliant days - just short of 800 miles covered - and we're really looking forward to touring France next month!!
