So Snopes agrees it was published in 62

Yes THAT bit is true, but reading the article it was painted because of 4 seat vehicles we’re being used by 1 person and using up space.
And as population was increasing it was a prediction that we all would have individual modes of transport and in our own little world (that bit seems prophetic too as we all seem to be plugged in to whatever device we have with headphones on .... in our own little world !)

It wasn’t quite the virus theme many people suggest it was

Could be on to something here......thinking out loud....how about making a cheap short range single seat electric vehicle, maybe powered by a washing machine motor. I could sell them in electricity board showrooms.

Visionary.

To be fair when Sinclair crashed and burned I thought he was ahead of his time.

I have one in an unopened box in storage. Paid bugger all for it, probably worth even less now:rolleyes:

What people ? I just came across the picture during a search for personal transport for a report I am writing and though it was pretty prophetic

Sorry, no room to store it :)
I am not certain but I think I paid about £45 from a London Electriicity showroom when Sinclair collapsed. I wasn't overly popular when I got it home:D
