Opened a FB account about 6 or 7 years ago, but only started using it about 2 years ago as I felt it was summat akin to a commie plot (still think it is). Im in a couple of bike groups and local buy and sell groups.
Handy for contacting distant friends and family and great for organising rideouts on motorbikes and stuff. Also handy for finding out why the police car was outside number 6 or what the shadowy scroats on Lower Lane were up to at 3:56am this morning.
Gets me back up (and makes me laugh too) when idiots shout out to close down a local eatery based on some minor problem they had with their meal last night. Such posts are always followed by a baying pitchfork wielding mob screaming for the closure of even worse takeaways and restaurants. We will end up in a place with no fine dining left
