Father and son denied bail today after spitting on two police during a street drug search.

Several instances north and south.
Think someone up north got arrested too.

Should have tasered or sprayed the scumbags .

I've found the opposite end of a shopping trolley is very useful for social distancing in supermarkets.
At arms length the other end is pretty much 2m away and it's great for herding people out of the way. (y)

I find a loud prolonged cough followed by wiping my brow then saying isn't it hot in here clears the isle rather quickly :)

Grasp shopping trolley handle firmly in both hands and extend away from yourself.
Anyone at the other end of the trolley is now 2m away.

Seemples.

Some still don't get it.

Examples of (paraphrased )stuff from people that have requested help from the local volunteers today...

- 'I must have been over at Doris's having a cup of tea when you rang'

- 'I'm on the bus on my way to see my friend so the signal isn't very good'

- ' Can I add a few things to my shopping list as the grandkids are staying with me today' (temptation was to say'if the parents dropped the grandkids off perhaps they can get your shopping for you' but lip bitten)

All quite elderly so allowances made.

But.......!!

On the positive side a great example of social distancing - my scumbag of a brother in law hasn't picked the phone up once to his mum since this all started.

He is going to be in for a massive shock when he holds out his hand for a share of her estate in due course. :jaja-no:

Nowt wrong with having a cuppa with Doris provided they kept to the distances.
May have been the only passenger on the bus taking vital medication to their friend.
My Grandkids are stopping with us on Tuesday.
Daughter is a key worker & the kid’s useless father would rather work overtime than look after his kids, better with us than with a load of strange kids at an unfamiliar school
