2 years after they realized I'd done 25 years I got a crapy, off center photocopied certificate.

For the most improved service we (as a team of 25) got the same, mind you it wasn't hard as we was really a shit service before :wank: .

When I got employee of the month I came equal 1st with 4 others and we got a ?10 M&S voucher between us :xm

Just as it happens " anyone want a job ?" (see below) then phone me if interested

After 25 years we get a 'long service -good conduct' medal and some blue and white ribbon to have stuck on the front of your uniform.

Theres a presentation evening held at HQ when the Chief hands your medal to you and you have your mug shot taken.

There's a slap up meal laid on and of course you take your nearest and dearest with you.

However, the chief hasnt a bloody clue who you are and would have only ever come into contact with you if you were in the shit and were before him for a bollocking or the sack.

So - as I mean nothing to him, he means the same to me so I told them to stick it and send me the medal through the post - they did.

There's a caring organisation for you, couldnt be bothered to ask why?:wank: and they wonder why moral is only found under the carpet.

Oh well, roll on Jan 2007 and I can leave for good, ye ha...:yo:

Buzz.

At least they make some sort of effort to let you know that you are valued, our DG knows me better than our own governor does, and when he visits Wakefield if he sees me makes some effort to talk to me, whereas the governor seems to think he is above all that, we are currently running one member of staff short on nights and have been since Sunday, but the Governor will not answer any memo's we send him regarding the health & safety issues involved, and it would appear he has instructed the lesser Governors not to discuss it with us, as when it is mentioned to them they just give blank looks, mind you that is normal practice for them as they are brain dead anyway.

Now how long should I wait before reminding them that I have now served 25 years?
