I have the american "HeliBars" on my new 'bird. I like them. Haven't tried this German "Superbike Lenker" (that's what it's called I gather), but it does look ugly.

The HeliBars make all the difference to me - I got backache with the originals, now it's bearable. I liked them so much that when I traded my old carbed 'bird in, I kept the 'bars. Tried using the bike without for a while, but backache came back... so they went onto my 03 model redbird as well. Expensive, though!

Happy riding, high or low!

Udo.

Hi Bob -
I think you're on my way to work. I live in Poole but work in Portsmouth. See me flying down the M27 every day.... :yo:

Of course, only at legal speeds, officer.

Bars or Helibars?

Could not decide the best wat to raise bars. Went for VFR bars off a 2003 basket case ?60 fitted in less than hour.Redrilled hole for pin on throttle side and had to leave off the snap rings holding on the origional bird bars. No wrist ache or back problems.
