Normally I would agree with you but reading the full story I have a bit of sympathy for him, why do Courts & Solicitors need to make so much money from situations like this?

If you were desperate to get access to your children you would do anything, if he’s a wrong un then no I have no sympathy

You may feel differently if it was your car he was nicking bits off causing interruption to your daily life and future insurance costs. Maybe he didn't deserve to die but he took a chance and paid the price.

Fully understand that & yes I would be pissed but if he’s just a desperate dad wanting to see his kids then he has my sympathy, if he’s a complete wrong un then he deserves everything he got & society will not miss him.

If he wanted to see his kids that bad, then he should have grown up and returned to normal civilised living.
There are thousand’s of decent honest hard working fathers who cant see their kids due to bitch of an ex, I know at least two who are desperate to see their kids but due to the lies of their ex rarely get access.

Ah, the old “I wanted to see / I wanted better for my kids” excuse. Making scum look better than they are for hundreds of years. I thing Fagin and indeed my own father used it many times.

Not always “I wanted” sometimes “I needed” fathers desperate to see their kids have been known to commit suicide as they cannot see a future without their kids.

This was on the news here (hardly surprising as the inquest was two miles away from me).

I saw it on Wales online on feacebook and the comments were hilarious. Most people were of a similar view as us here - serves him f’ing right. However, there was a surprising number of bleeding hearts saying he didn’t deserve to die, which I guess he didn’t, but the best was a reply by his ex-partner. I don’t think she ever went to school and the language was quite colourful. Best bit was a reply where one wag said that if she hadn’t stopped him from seeing his kids, he wouldn’t have needed to go thieving.

I am usually totally in favour of scrotes paying the price for their actions but I can’t help thinking in this case if he had been found under my bmw I would be thinking ‘I would have given him the converter’ if I had known that was going to happen.

Dont get me wrong, his action was despicable, the motive absolutely irrelevant, but the loss of life as a result is awful.

As I have said countless times before, if punishments were heavy enough to deter petty crime the incident may not have happened in the first place as there is little in the way of consequence to deter offenders.

Chopping a thieves hand off comes to mind…..

I'd say it's not so much the punishment is not sufficient (I agree) it's that the chances of actually getting caught are virtually nil.

When scrotes think about it they don't have to think about the consequences.

They know they won't get caught so it doesn't matter.

Unless detection rates are effective punishment doesn't matter.

Having seen some of the bleeding heart comments for the thieving twat elsewhere it seems to me that once again the victim dissappears into the background. The price of a genuine replacement cat for most modern cars can run to 4 figures and if your insurance won't shell out then that could wipe out a month's wages and more.
And that's assuming they don't do any other damage to the car.

If you're bringing up a young family, are the only bread winner and have a mortgage then that's no laughing matter.

Similar incident a few years ago in my home town some little scumbag stole a 125 and piled it into a pub wall 100yds later killing himself and severely injuring his dick sniffing mate

Then we got all the bleeding heart stuff, "lovey lads" "wouldn't hurt a fly" "no harm in them at all" even flowers etc at the crash site

The bike owner an older gent lost time at work as his only transport was obviously impounded and being on nights couldn't get a lift or a bus, his insurance went up his family struggled as he was the only earner in the house, in the end months later after suffering a lot of abuse he lost the plot and destroyed the tributes at the crash site then smacked the injured toerag who had just got out of hospital and another related scumbag getting himself his first ever criminal conviction

When it all came to light a group of about 40 of us from the pub found him a new bike dug him out of debt and had a quiet word with both scumbags families one of who paid a bit towards sorting the owner out and the other decided going "up north" was a better idea

What did the surviving toerag get from the courts? 100 quid fine "as he had suffered enough":mad::mad:
