What the ? Shopping online.

Having purchased several items online recently. I'm amazed at the internal garbage via email has been generated.
For example...
7 individual items = 98 email's.
One item = 14 emails.
1 The order is confirmed.
2 The payment is being processed.
3 We have received your order.
4 Your parcel is being processed.
5 Here is your tracking number.
6 Your parcel has been collected.
7 Your parcel is out for delivery.
8 Your parcel is at such a point via your destination.
9 Your parcel is almost there.
10 Your parcel has been delivered.
11 Please rate your delivery driver.
12 please rate & review your product.
13 Please confirm your receipt.
14 Recommendations for you, or...
you recently purchased this, so you're just gonna love this tat.

Only one email from the purchaser.
Where's my stuff you 2hat.

Could you imagine the waste if even half of that lot was generated as old fashioned snail mail.

The world would be treeless within a couple of years.

As it is, billions of poor little electrons have to work their tits off 24/7 to get this junk delivered.

On the other side of the coin..... ordered an item, email to confirm order and despatch,.............. 6 days later another email to say " sorry we didn't actually despatch the item, we are doing it now "
will be returning said item for a refund as I have had to buy an alternative. GRRRRR !
