After getting confirmation off my solicitors that I could dispose of my old Blacky called Bluey,,,, Dave kindly came & collected her,, just hope he can salvage some bits & bobs off her.

BTW,, I fixed the Corbin seat with a 3mm steel plate screwed underneath,,,, worked well to,, got it on our new bike now. Just waiting for agreed cheque off the old zimmers insurance for my bike,,,,,,,, then another for my loss of earnings,, ( back to work Monday) then another for my seat,,givi stuff,,helmet, etc,,,,, then another for my injuries & pain & suffering.

Heres what happens when you slide your bike into the side of a 406 estate ( who has just pulled out) at about 40/50mph %$fan

BTW,, Jaws,, your shrooms had little effect m8 :}

Hope you have better luck than me: Wiped out by van pulling out of junction in June 2003 8l1nd and received fractured pelvis; was paid ?4200 for bike (market value) after two months but owed loads more; since then not a penny; still having to use old helmet and clothing damaged in collision 14 months afterwards; :violin:
fighting for lost overtime / earnings, mileage to hospital and physio, expences etc, and that's with a solicitor appointed by Insurance company as part of their 'attractive deal' to take out their insurance. c7u8
I'm bitter and twisted because I still the old git who knocked me off and his insurance bought him a replacement van within two weeks. :bang:

Shrops m8, glad to see you are ok, could have been much worse. I had a similar experience on a 600 bandit at 30mph when a Volvo 340 pulled out of a side road and stopped dead in my path. got the bandit fixed up like new pity same couldn't be said about my shoulder, had to give up riding about six months later (been two years now) hopefully shoulder will get better it is improving day by day and as soon as I'm ready it's off to the Honda dealer and ordering a Blackbird, then hopefully I will be able to meet the Lads & Lasses on the forum and put faces to names.
