I`ve recently bought a new digital camera (Sony cyber shot 5.1 MP) and after much faffing around can now get the pictures off the camera and onto the computer. But what I can`t seem to do is upload them onto the forum. Any idea why?

The ones I`ve tried uploading today are all jpeg and only around 2 0r 3 mb.

I hope I haven`t spent some moohlah on a piece of branded crap that I can`t use.

Help please. :dunno: :dunno: :h

I think the maximum size is 1 Meg and 800x600 any larger than that and it won't upload.

Yer right Skip.....I had trouble when I got a new camera and couldn't work out how to alter it to take the right size images.

Wound up getting some software to allow me to resize the images and that seemed to solve it.

you shouldn't be having trouble with re sizing me duck, your camera has a re size doo daa on it and you should be able to click on Jpegs of the correct size, your camera is a "couple" of steps up from mine and should have at least the same or better options, though with more stuff on the camera, you may have to look harder to find the correct program, :eek:

BTW have you read the instruction manual that came with it??? :rolleyes: it helps sometimes, :rolleyes: LOL :}

Sarah is a G I R L - of course she read the manual !!!!

It's only M E N that just know the instruction book is not written for them.

(Except in the case of Samsung - Dear Mr Samsung, think you must have sent us a faulty CD as the software don't work. (Driver missing - search internet for driver - this camera doesn't need a driver - please go away - driver missing ....) The CD we sent you is not faulty! .... (How can you tell that, when the CD is here and you are there? How do you know (for instance) that I have not burnt a hole in it with my cigarette lighter or that one of my grandchildren has not attacked it with a piece of sandpaper? How do you do that? That's amazing!) .... but here is a free card reader in case you are too incompetent to operate our software (or words to that effect) .... Grrrrr!!!!!!)

Instruction manual read but have to admit I don`t take that sort of information in too readily. Am dutifully going through it again however. c7u8
