Its a 98, and has about 34000 miles on it
In the way that certain shows on telly do, I took the Bird to a 'secret location' today to give it a decent shake down ..
It is a ww2 runway in north Norfolk.. Not that much of the runway left but still 3/4 of a mile and about 100 yds wide
Saw 170 on the clock before I had to shut down and it sings like a v12 on full chat
Ended up with quite an audience !
The changes to the suspension makes it handle a bit like a Ducati 916 and since the thing weighs about 25 kg less than standard by the cringe does it hoist its skirts and fly !

With respect John, Clint had a proper cool motorised vehicle and I would hazard that Steve McQueen looked a bit cooler than you do on your Heinz 57....

It doesn’t matter if it handled like a roller skate one iota.....it’s cool!!anyway, nothing that replacing the leaf spring rear end with a four link setup and Ford 9” diff and replacing the front end with that from a second generation Mustang wouldn’t sort out.

Oh I agree it is sub zero on the coolometer ...................but did you know the 9" ford diff was also used on the Mk 1 Transit ( which, when done well, also has a fantastic cool factor )

You might have something there... John's DucaBird is far cooler than the Beemer thing he's replacing it with. Fact.
50% of what makes that Mustang cool is the sound.This is proly the best bit
Actually Clint does ride a bike ....in Magnum force and also in Coogan ... a Guzzi if only briefly in Magnum force but does a fair bike chase in Coogan
