Starting to put an idea together for a run around the SE corner.
So my question to you, if you know the area,
Where are the places I should visit whilst I'm there?
I will have plenty of time as I'm looking at, maybe, spreading it over 5 days.

Dover Castle, Deal Castle. Of course it depends on what blows your skirt up.

Alfriston is a good place to stop for an hour or two.

Beachy Head.

Depending on dates there is a good car show at Eastbourne (last weekend in March from memory) and the brilliant air show later in the year.

Rye.

Arundel is a great favourite of ours, ideal place for,a,stopover, more great eateries than anywhere I have visited.

plenty of others, depends how many you want and what floats your boat.

Personally I would avoid Canterbury…not really much there other than the cathedral (which is magnificent) - last time we went we turned round as the entrance fee was exorbitant.
