Scottish BASH 2010 !

Following the success of this years event, we have already decided to do it again next year !

Originally, as you all know, I had planned a marquee, etc, to make it a big event.

After this weekend its been decided that next years event will be based in the Vale Hotel again and as a result it will be restricted to the first 30 names.

Priority to the first 21 places have already been taken by those who came this weekend;

Note all the rooms in the Hotel are now taken !!

They all have first pop at a place so that leaves 1 (see new additions below) free, if, for whatever reason any of the guys above cannot make it then those place will be free, its not looking like there will be many free though !!

I will make sure the weekend doesn't clash with any of next years GP's/WSB/BSB weekends, so watch this space !!

What can I say that has not been said, as people know from this weekend I am not to quick at coming forward to say my bit.

Mike and Pam 100% for the next one, Russ you put the Bash together and everyone that attended made it what it was and I thank you all for that.

Please thank Alex and Sandy for there ride outs and I would 100% like to meet these guys again.

Russ I can?t put in to word how we feel right now and we have arrived home to a house full of family and all we are talking about is the Bash and what a great time we had, once again thank you for that.

So only 10 places left already so as the man said BOOK early

To allow you an easier time next year Russ, make the closing date for paid bookings 6 months in advance.

Russ, deffo place for me and Catherine (who by next year's bash will be the wife!!). Cheers - oh, and make sure we book a place for Basil.......!

Incidentally, I found out that someone that Catherine works with knows Gary, and apparently his father is(was?) a magician as well!! He's seen Gary before and the first question he asked was " did he bring Basil" !!

We'll have to see!! Date all set, 30th May 2010 at Thainstone House - but it may not be a bad idea to see if the guys are available for extra entertainment!! Will look into that!!

Okay guys, just heard back from the Band regarding next years BASH and they will be tied up (maybe literally!) on the 4th and 5th Sept.

Sooooo, I would suggest either the 28/29th August or the 11/12th September.

Obviously I don't know if there are any BSB/WSB/GP's on those weekends but if you're not bothered I can book one of the dates above that suits you all best.

There is obviously no panic but if you have any preferences, just let me know.

For those who have been asking, I don't need the dosh yet but once we get 30 on the list I will ask for it then to make sure everyone is coming.

Obviously there may be some call offs nearer the time which is unavoidable but we'll see how it goes.

I have already asked Bedlam Howe and Garry Seagraves to pencil the McBASH in !!
